In further support of the EB-5 program the U.S. Congress provided for the authorization of “Regional Centers” approved by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Commercial projects located within a Regional Center are not required to employ 10 workers for each EB-5 qualifying investment. It is sufficient if the investor demonstrates that at least 10 qualifying jobs will be created or preserved directly and indirectly on account of the investment.
