OVERVIEW
The EB-5 program is intended to encourage the flow of capital into the United States economy and to promote employment of workers in the United States. To accomplish these goals, and provide foreign investors with immigration benefits, the EB-5 program requires a minimum investment amount and the creation, or preservation, of 10 direct and indirect, full-time jobs on account of each investment. In addition to the return that investors hope to achieve on their investment, foreign investors and their qualifying family members are offered the prospect of Lawful Permanent Residence (“Green Card”) in the United States.
